Well it is time to talk about my favorite movie ever and this is one that has sadly been forgotten. Seriously, I hardly see anyone talk about this fantastic movie.

Well it is time to talk about my favorite movie ever and this is one that has sadly been forgotten. Seriously, I hardly see anyone talk about this fantastic movie.
The title says it all and really there is no arguing with the popular consensus on this one not that I would even try. The trailers didn't even make this one look good. But what do you expect from the same guy who directed the live action Ghost in the Shell from 2017?
We have another Alien film and yes it sucks. What else am I supposed to say? Why can't this series just end?
I love short story anthologies and this batch of shorts from Studio Ponoc certainly didn't disappoint. It is the first volume from them and I hope it won't be the last.
This is the third film from the Studio Ghibli offshoot called Studio Ponoc. I wasn't expecting much from what I saw in the trailers but I had a copy on Blu-ray and watched it. It was better than I thought it would be.
Now is a good time to revisit the 2013 Remake/reimagining of Sam Raimi's classic horror/comedy (yes I know it leans more toward horror but still there's plenty of funny moments in that one). This movie is a solid one. As to whether Alien Romulus will be good is anyone's guess. (Update...sadly it wasn't).
This was to be my next video on the old channel before it was taken down. So it seems only fitting that this be the first new video on this new channel.
This was one of the first anime films I ever owned on the DVD format (actually the first film I ever owned on DVD) and is easily in my top 50 movies ever. A beautiful film that everyone should see at least once and is one that also owes a debt to the 1927 Fritz Lang Metropolis.
Something of a black sheep in the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, F91 started life as a TV series but was changed to a movie in the planning stages. Strange direction to take but how did the movie turn out? Let's dive in and find out!
Well...until the new Macross series from Sunrise animation comes to us, this may be the last Macross video from me for a while. Today I briefly look at a glorified commercial for Macross 7…
Live action remakes of animated films are usually a miss aren't they? Hollywood fumbles that a lot but it would seem so can anyone else. Let's take a look at both versions of Jin-Roh and...well...why Illang isn't very good at all.
This time I am covering another film in the "movie" timeline of the Patlabor series. WXIII (Wasted 13) takes place before Patlabor 2 and thus it is only fitting to get this one out of the way.
Although Katsuhiro Otomo's Memories was my first and my favorite anime anthology film, Robot Carnival is a classic in its own right especially here in the West. Let's dive right in.
The first two Patlabor movies were my introduction to the franchise. This first movie is underrated and has far more depth to it than I saw in it the first time. Let's take a look.
Well my audience has spoken and I have started a new series. Patlabor is one that doesn't get talked about a whole lot in regard to robot anime and I hope to shed some more light on this one.
A movie that is the combination of Terminator, Aliens and Tokusatsu films from Godzilla movie producers and visual effects workers that features giant robots beating the crap out of each other? That sounds awesome and thankfully Gunhed is that kind of movie
This is a companion piece of sorts to my first video on the film I made about 5 years ago.
This film is considered the best since the original classic but sadly that isn't saying a whole lot.....
Well...I wasn't expecting this to happen. I hate Diebuster. It is a really lousy sequel to Gunbuster. Why? Let's take a look.
Not even the death of Gilliam's lead star could make him quit (although he wanted to at first).
