Netflix's "POLAR" is Well Written but Pointlessly Grotesque

Part 2 of my “What the Hell, Netflix?! You can do better than this!” series features POLAR, the Netflix Original adaptation of the graphic novel.

I didn't grow up reading graphic novels. My brothers read comic books, some graphic novels etc but I could never get into them. So when Hollywood started making films based off of graphic novels, I just didn't feel a draw to them. I ended up watching POLAR after watching the trailer and thought, "Hmmm, Mads Mikkelsen is pretty awesome. I wonder how Vanessa Hudgens will do in this one."

I really should have left it alone.

Because it's gross.

I will never watch this movie again and I am somewhat sad to say that I won’t watch any sequels of it even though the story was really interesting.
