I'm so excited for this new series & Gaskell’s “North & South” was a perfect beginning to the series.
I love period & historical dramas and the older I get, the more I enjoy reading classic novels and watching the adaptations. Classic literature is timeless for a reason and it’s a thrill to see them adapted for the silver screen. Though sometimes, to be honest, they don’t always live up to our expectations while others become classics in their own right.

**Wanting to watch "North & South", do you? I thought you might!**
North & South 2004 (Netflix) This version on Netflix is edited and different from the DVD version. It will work in a pinch but I recommend you get the DVD.
North & South 2004 is also available (in all its glory) on BritBox!
